The cleaning company screwed up and didn't come to clean the unit in time for me to move in.  Landlord assisted with finding me a place to stay until it was completed.  Was hesitant from renting from private Landlord vs. management company but totally didn't regret it. Move out was great (moving to a new Province for work) but during my stay, when I had issues, the Landlord was really responsive.  Out of all the places I've stayed, this was the best Landlord I ever had.  Would've stayed on for much longer if I wasn't moving out of Province.

Quick on responding to inquiries, concerns, etc. and was great with letting me paint the room. Place was professionally cleaned and everything was in working order.  I had to move for relocation of work but would definitely rent again.

Landlord was great at communicating with me from the start, during and end of my tenancy.  Any issues that came up during my stay was resolved very quickly unlike other landlords I've dealt with.  Friendly, helpful and respectful of my privacy. Always gave notice if access to the unit was required and always available to chat if there were any concerns. Definitely way better than going with a property management firm.

The building was doing some renos to the parkade.  Landlord found another parking spot for me to park so I didn't have to worry about not having a place to park my car.  Communicated when items came up so I was able to prepare, etc.
